Our first publicly available and free download has now gone live in the form of the NavigX Widget.

NavigX is a range of software which allows navigational tasks to be undertaken on a Mac. There are several versions in development but the release of the NavigX widget marks the first download of the range.

The widget provides the means for any Mac user to convert a co-ordinate in Latitude and Longitude to an Ordnance Survey grid reference. Naturally, the calculation goes both ways so it is easy to convert between the two. When converting from Latitude and Longitude, a range of precision is available; from 6-figure grid references suitable for most recreational tasks to 10-figure precision, the NavigX widget can fit the bill.

Other versions of NavigX do have more functionality and features and they are currently in Beta form. When they are available, they will be posted to this site and made available for download.
