NavigX Touch has received so many downloads we have now updated NavigX for Mac to use several of the new features found in NavigX Touch and also some new features that are coming in the next version of NavigX Touch and NavigX for iPad.
With the launch of the Mac App Store today, purchasing NavigX for Mac will be as simple as purchasing NavigX on the iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad.
We're finishing the final testing phase of NavigX for Mac over the next couple of weeks and then it will be released to the Mac App Store for approval. A full review of the new version of NavigX for Mac will be released when the App is live on the Mac App Store. |

Its not just any button, though. Its a button with one purpose. Touching it enables you to send an SOS Message containing your position in your preferred coordinate format, accurate to around 1m, to anyone in your contact book.
Lakeland Fells v2.1 is now the most powerful electronic guide to all of the fells in The Lake District and Cumbria available for the iPhone today. Never before have you had features like View Assist, GPS Navigation and the SOS Button in an application that costs just 59p. Why not check out the other features that Lakeland Fells has that can make your time in the hills more enjoyable and safer?

Lakeland Fells v2.0 is now available in the App Store. Packed with new features, you're going to love how View Assist helps you out. To use it, just point your iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4 in the direction you'd like more information about and you'll see the map rotate to show you what's in front of you. You can even alter the scale to view the fells further afield on those fine, sunny days in this outstanding area.
As well as View Assist, there is now a Google Maps enabled Navigate feature. Select the fell you'd like to navigate to and Lakeland Fells will give you a basic bearing and range to the fell. As you track along your route, your current position is also displayed.
We've been testing Lakeland Fells v2.1 in The Lake District this week so we'll be releasing that in the very near future.
As ever, please direct any requests for support to the In-App Support Request screen within the App. Posting support requests as feedback on the App Store won't resolve your issue as we can't respond directly to you!

NavigX Touch is now ready for iOS4! In NavigX Touch 2.1.3, you'll be able to take advantage of true multitasking on your iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4! It has been submitted to the App Store so it should appear as an available download within iTunes when iOS 4 is released on June 24 2010.
In addition to the support for multitasking, NavigX Touch now also features Global Area Reference System (GARS) conversions in its location screens and it is another first for us as NavigX Touch is the only iPhone app to support GARS.
We've introduced GARS as part of NavigX Touch 2.1.3 so that we can improve GARS conversions in the soon-to-be-released version 2.2. We've had a lot of requests for GARS so we'd appreciate your feedback as GARS on the iPhone remains largely untested. Please submit your feedback through the in-App support request feature on the "More" page.
NavigX Touch 2.1.3 also includes a bugfix which seems to randomly occur in iOS 4 on the Locate screen where the Accuracy isn't displayed correctly. |
